SELEX Galileo: Il punto sui simulatori per M-346 ed Eurofighter

SELEX Galileo ha firmato un contratto con CAE come suo subfornitore nell’ambito del contratto che la società ha ricevuto da Alenia Aermacchi per lo sviluppo del simulatore di volo per il nuovo addestratore avanzato M-346. Il contratto riguarda la fornitura di una parte importante del Flight Training Device (FTD) per la Initial Training Capability del velivolo M-346.
Il contributo di SELEX Galileo comprende lo sviluppo, la fornitura e il supporto di sottosistemi di simulazione, inclusa la postazione istruttore (Instructor Operating Station IOS), la riproduzione ad alta fedeltà del cockpit dell’ M-346, la simulazione dell’avionica di bordo e di gran parte dei sistemi del velivolo. Nell’ambito del programma, il ruolo di CAE comprende la completa responsabilità della progettazione, sviluppo e validazione della Initial Training Capability del simulatore.
Le attività relative a questo contratto saranno sviluppate nel sito di Ronchi dei Legionari. La partecipazione al programma M-346 rafforza ulteriormente la posizione di SELEX Galileo nel settore della simulazione, che comprende il contributo a programmi quali il full mission simulator per il velivolo Tornado, l’ Aircrew Synthetic Training Aid (ASTA) per l’ Eurofighter Typhoon, il simulatore per il velivolo Harrier, la simulazione di sistemi radar, fino al Battlelab per lo UAV Falco e simulatori di volo per velivoli senza pilota.
Nei mesi scorsi, SELEX Galileo ha firmato lo ESS supplement 5, il contratto di produzione per il secondo batch di ASTA, per un valore di 32 milioni di Euro. Nell’ambito del consorzio ESS GmbH (che comprende ARGE Rheinmetall Defence Elektronics GmbH, CAE GmbH, Indra Sistemas S.A., e Thales Training & Simulation Ltd.) SELEX Galileo fornisce a tutti i paesi partner di Eurofighter il sistema di simulazione radar (Digital Radar Land Mass Simulation), la Stazione di Debriefing e Teatro, il sistema di Pianificazione della Missione e il Generatore di Scenario e, in collaborazione con la società spagnola Indra, la Stazione Istruttore. Inoltre, nell’ambito del programma ASTA, SELEX Galileo fornisce alla forza aerea nazionale i database visivi, radar, FLIR, EW e di navigation aid, supporta la costruzione del building per la seconda base operativa di Gioia del Colle, installa i simulatori presso tutte le basi operative nazionali e fornisce il relativo supporto.

My programmer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP.
